Not going to deny that the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.0 band is not very good. But I believe you will be excited to know that you can definitely make it work. Yes, you can get admission with 6 bands in Canada. However, since it is a score on the lower side, you have to cover some other things.

For example, when you search schools and colleges in Canada and their IELTS requirement, you get many options. Some are high demanding universities, while many others are flexible. Basically, you get like hundreds of options. There are quite a few universities that can grant you admission with a 6 band. Also, if you work on your profile better, you can get admitted into some really good universities there. I’ll tell you how.

First, you have to focus on the other parts of your application. Things like GRE scores, academic scores, curriculars, certificate courses etc. become important here. Because international universities look for different aspects in an applicant. You can cover your low band score with many other things. You can also add your work experience to your profile even if it’s not demanded for the program you are applying for because it will act as a bonus in your application

Adding other things to our profile doesn’t mean loading off all the things you have. Keep your profile as relevant as possible.  Too much information is also harmful. Remember that you are applying to a university, and you want to look as relevant as possible. I

Therefore, try to build an overall impactful profile when you apply for admission. If you need any help with this, directly get in touch with study abroad experts here. They  will guide you through your application process and inform you about the things that are required to be done.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need any more information.
