Hey Asfia, how are you doing?

No, just an IELTS score won’t be enough to get admission to an Australian university. There are various other important aspects as well which you need to look after if you wish to get admission into a university in Australia.

IELTS is just an English proficiency test that will prove your ability to read, write and understand English, but you are also required to give some other entrance exams like GMAT, GRE, SAT, etc. based on the course that you wish to apply to. Your academic scores also play a huge role in the selection process so make sure that you maintain a decent academic profile.

Another important part of your application would be your SOPs and LORs. They are brief description essays about yourself that will help the university in deciding if you are the right for them.  This is why you need to make sure that both, your SOP as well as LOR highlights your qualities, without sounding too braggy.

The whole requirement thing varies according to the course and university, so you need to check the requirements according to that.

Why don't you tell me more about which course do you wish to apply to and what universities are you targeting? Maybe then I would be able to find out the exact requirements for the same.
