Is EDHEC a good option for finance roles in Europe?

I’ve been looking into MiM programs in France, and EDHEC keeps coming up for finance. It’s ranked well, but I’m not sure how strong it actually is when it comes to placements in investment banking, asset management, or even corporate finance roles in Europe.
Does EDHEC really have a good name in the finance world, or is it more regional? Also curious if international students actually land roles in Paris, Luxembourg, or London after graduating,  or if that’s rare without knowing French.

If finance is the end goal, EDHEC shows up on a lot of shortlists for a reason ,  it quietly does the job without the noise some bigger brands make.

EDHEC has dedicated career tracks for finance, with early networking events and alumni meets targeting roles in London and Paris.
International students have landed roles at Barclays, Natixis, AXA IM, and even smaller boutiques in Luxembourg. French fluency helps, but isn&rsquo;t a dealbreaker &mdash; especially for London or roles in English-speaking teams.
The school has strong links with CFA Institute, and many students pursue CFA Level 1 alongside MiM, which adds credibility.
A good internship (even back in home country) can make a big difference in securing interviews &mdash; firms care about relevance more than region.
EDHEC&rsquo;s career support team has specific finance placement advisors &mdash; they often connect students directly with alumni at major firms.

EDHEC is definitely one of the best MiM options in France for finance roles, especially if you're targeting investment banking, asset management, or corporate finance across Europe.
Its MSc in Finance is ranked top 5 globally, and even the MiM program has strong finance electives and partnerships. Big names like BNP Paribas, Soci&eacute;t&eacute; G&eacute;n&eacute;rale, BlackRock, and Amundi recruit regularly. London placements are fairly common for finance grads &mdash; especially for roles in asset management and risk &mdash; but investment banking tends to be more competitive and often goes to those with prior internships.
Luxembourg is a realistic target for roles in private banking and audit, even without fluent French. Paris hiring is tougher without language skills, but not impossible if the profile is strong. EDHEC&rsquo;s career fairs, alumni in finance hubs, and its direct ties with firms like J.P. Morgan and Rothschild make it a solid finance brand &mdash; not just a regional one.
