First of all, let us understand that management is the one for whom the data is visualised and represented. Now you may say it is for the top management, yes it is. But there is a hierarchy of roles in a company and therefore the forecasts and the projections that have been made by the data analysts and scientists need to go through some managers as well.

That is where the role of a manager comes into play. We need to understand that data science is as important for the managers as it is for normal data science employees. Here are a few points:

  • The task of the manager is to make necessary decisions to contribute for the growth of the company, right? Now tell me if the manager is not aware of the various neural networks, pipelines, data sets and other things related to data science, how will he or she manage that department? The position of manager do not require you to be the master of the subject, but you should have the necessary knowledge of the knowledge, isn’t it?
  • We all are aware that the role of a manager comes through promotion and appraisals, so if you are not a management graduate, you will have to go through the process and procedure in which you will be required to have a solid foundational knowledge of the field.
  • You are already aware of the growing popularity of the data science field, but are you aware that there are various managerial courses in this field as well? Yes, many students are targeting master's courses in this area. The result is that along with its specialisations, there are many business careers available here as well. Therefore having data science knowledge can give you some really good career options.
  • The popularity and the demand growth of the data science field made it important as well as necessary for the company to have a managerial role for this job as well. Therefore, it is very important to have managerial roles in this field as well.

And now you tell me if there are no managers to look after the talks, wouldn’t it sink?
