So, is a 670 a good GMAT score? Let's go into in!

A 670 is definitely a respectable score and shows that you've got a solid grasp of the material tested on the GMAT. It puts you in a good position for many MBA programs, especially those outside the ultra-competitive top tier.

When evaluating your score, it's important to consider the average scores of the schools you're interested in. Every program is different, and what's considered a "good" score can vary widely. Take some time to research the average GMAT scores of your target schools to see how you measure up.

That being said, a 670 can open a lot of doors for you. It demonstrates your ability to handle the rigors of graduate-level coursework and can help strengthen your application overall. Plus, it's a testament to your hard work and dedication to your academic and professional goals.

So, while a 670 might not be perfect, it's definitely something to be proud of. Keep up the great work, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need any more advice or guidance on your study abroad journey!

From my standpoint, a GMAT score of 670 can be considered competitive for many graduate programs. However, it's essential to assess your target schools' average GMAT scores and admission requirements to determine where you stand in comparison.

While a 670 demonstrates proficiency in the skills assessed by the GMAT, such as analytical writing, quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, and integrated reasoning, some programs may have higher expectations. It's crucial to research each program's admissions criteria comprehensively and consider other aspects of your application, such as academic performance, work experience, recommendation letters, and personal statement.

Additionally, applicants should strive to showcase their strengths holistically, emphasizing not only their GMAT score but also their unique attributes and achievements. Remember, admissions decisions are multifaceted, and a strong application encompasses more than just standardized test scores.

Yes, a GMAT score of 670 is considered good and can make you a competitive applicant at many business schools. Achieving a score of 670 demonstrates proficiency in both quantitative and verbal reasoning, indicating your readiness for graduate-level studies. While a score of 670 may not be exceptionally high, it still falls within the competitive range for many business schools and can enhance your application. However, it's important to consider the specific requirements and standards of the business schools you're interested in, as some may have higher average GMAT scores for admitted students. Additionally, business schools typically evaluate applicants holistically, taking into account factors such as academic background, work experience, leadership potential, and personal qualities. Therefore, while a GMAT score of 670 is commendable, it's essential to present a strong overall profile that aligns with the expectations of your target business schools.

A GMAT score of 670 is considered strong and competitive for many MBA programs. It places you in the 80th percentile, meaning you scored higher than 80% of all test takers. This score is above the average GMAT score, which is around 564.8, typically placing you in a favorable position for several reputable business schools.

For mid-to-high-ranked MBA programs, especially those consistently ranked between 25 and 80, a GMAT score of 670 is competitive. Schools like Indiana University (Kelley), Michigan State University (Broad), and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Wisconsin) have average GMAT scores around this range, making your score well-aligned with their expectations.

However, if you're aiming for top 20 business schools, which usually require a GMAT score of 720 or higher, a 670 might be on the lower side. For instance, programs at Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton have median GMAT scores around 730. In such cases, while a 670 doesn't disqualify you, you would need to strengthen other parts of your application, such as your GPA, work experience, essays, and recommendations, to improve your overall profile.

Additionally, the GMAT is not the sole criterion for admission. Admissions committees also consider your performance in individual sections (Verbal, Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning, and Analytical Writing Assessment) and how well-rounded your application is. A balanced score across all sections can enhance your application even if your total score is slightly below the median.

If your target schools are in the top tier, you might consider retaking the GMAT to aim for a score of 700 or higher. Effective preparation and practice can help boost your score. However, if your target schools are within the 25-80 rank range, a 670 should be quite sufficient to make you a competitive candidate.

In summary, a GMAT score of 670 is a good score that opens doors to many reputable MBA programs, particularly those not in the top 20. Tailoring your application to highlight your strengths in other areas can further bolster your chances of admission.
