Imperial vs Warwick MiM , which one is better for jobs after graduation?

I’ve shortlisted Imperial and Warwick for MiM and plan to apply for Fall 2025. I’m mostly looking at roles in consulting or analytics, ideally in the UK after graduation.
 Imperial seems to have a better brand globally, but Warwick has strong alumni in consulting and is ranked well in Europe. Not sure how they compare when it comes to actual placements for international students.
 Also wondering if Warwick’s lower tuition makes it better in terms of ROI. Does Imperial really offer better job support, or is it mostly the location advantage?
 Would love to hear from people who applied or joined either program — especially from a non-target background.

A lot of international students think Warwick might be the &ldquo;value-for-money&rdquo; pick &mdash; and in some cases, that&rsquo;s true. But when it comes to jobs, the picture is more mixed.

Warwick&rsquo;s tuition is lower, and if budget is a major factor, it gives better ROI only if you're able to land a strong role post-graduation. For that, you&rsquo;ll have to be more self-driven with networking.
Imperial&rsquo;s brand helps you get noticed faster &mdash; especially in analytics. London firms often give preference to schools in the city, just because of access and interview scheduling ease.
Imperial students also benefit from more frequent employer visits and stronger ties with companies hiring for data roles, including fintech and health analytics.
Warwick&rsquo;s consulting placements tend to lean more toward public sector or mid-sized firms, while Imperial sees more students placed in London-based offices of Strategy&, Monitor Deloitte, and BCG support teams.

For someone from a non-target background, Imperial usually provides more recruiter visibility. ROI isn&rsquo;t just about tuition ,  it&rsquo;s about where the degree takes you, and how quickly.

Imperial MiM generally has an edge over Warwick when it comes to job opportunities in the UK ,  especially for consulting and analytics roles. The biggest advantage is location. Being in London gives Imperial students more chances to attend company events, connect with alumni in person, and apply for internships during term breaks.
In terms of career services, Imperial&rsquo;s support is structured , they have dedicated consultants for each sector, and students usually get access to a large network of UK-based recruiters. For consulting, firms like Deloitte, EY, and Accenture frequently show up at campus events.
Warwick does have a good track record, particularly in consulting across Europe, and its alumni are well-placed in firms like Capgemini, KPMG, and Newton. But for international students without a strong brand on their undergrad degree, Imperial&rsquo;s global name and central location often open more doors ,  especially in competitive London-based roles.
