Firstly it all depends on which course you going for and which country and university you aiming to get in. Scholarship for the Duolingo English Test The Duolingo English Test is specifically developed to assist overseas students in obtaining certification for their English language competency at a low cost. While other English Language Tests (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and so on) can cost up to USD 200 to USD 250 to demonstrate English language proficiency, Duolingo allows international students to become certified for as little as USD 49. Most Florida, Arizona, and Colorado institutions have accepted the Duolingo English test as an authorised language test. Over 1700 universities now accept the Duolingo test. To be eligible for this award, students must perform well in English language proficiency exams and have a minimum of 80% in the Class XII board exam. This grant covers the entire tuition charge for students. An applicant will also receive between USD 1,000 and USD 2,000 based on academic accomplishment. If you have any other queries, just ask me.

The Duolingo test is great for showing you know English well, which is important, especially if English isn't your first language.

But, for scholarships, every school looks for different things. They might care about grades, test scores, things you do outside of class, and sometimes special skills, like knowing a language really well.

The GRE is often needed for scholarships that focus on being good at school and thinking things through. While a high Duolingo score helps, especially for showing you know English, it might not replace the GRE for most academic scholarships.

Check out the scholarships at the schools you like. See what they want. Some might really like your Duolingo score, but others might need the GRE to make your application stronger.

The Duolingo test, the GRE, and scholarships. From what I have learned and seen with others, the Duolingo test checks how well you know English, while the GRE looks at your thinking and math skills.

Now, for scholarships, it changes with each university and what they want. Some care more about language, and if you did well on Duolingo, that's great. But lots of scholarships, especially the ones for being smart, look at your GRE scores to see how good you might do in classes.

Look at what scholarships you want need. If they like language, your Duolingo scores matter. But if they want someone super smart, think about taking the GRE too.
