&bull; Yes, they do ask for recent examples if you bring up marketing as a goal &bull; It&rsquo;s smart to have 1&ndash;2 ad campaigns in mind,  ideally with some personal take, not just surface-level praise &bull; They may ask what you liked about it,  the messaging, the targeting, or even the emotional hook &bull; Sometimes they flip it and ask which campaign failed, or what brand you think is doing poor marketing right now &bull; Trends come up too ,  like how brands are using influencers, personalized ads, or AI-driven targeting in digital campaigns &bull; They&rsquo;re not testing jargon,  they want to see if you&rsquo;re genuinely interested and pay attention to what&rsquo;s happening in the space

Yes, if you say you're interested in Marketing during the MDI interview, there's a good chance they'll ask about recent campaigns, trends, or even your take on a brand strategy.
They&rsquo;re not expecting textbook knowledge, but if you say &ldquo;marketing&rdquo; is your goal, you should be able to talk about one or two recent campaigns that caught your attention,  and why. For instance, someone once got asked to compare Zomato&rsquo;s tone of voice with Swiggy&rsquo;s, or to evaluate why a certain campaign failed.
It helps to prepare 2&ndash;3 recent examples, maybe a brand relaunch, a digital-first campaign, or a new trend like nostalgia marketing. Try to go beyond just describing them, explain what worked, what didn&rsquo;t, and what you&rsquo;d do differently.
The panel&rsquo;s trying to test curiosity and awareness, not quiz you like an exam. So if you follow marketing pages or read brand case studies, mention that naturally.
