If I cancel my GMAT Focus score at the test centre, can MBA programs still see it?

If you cancel your GMAT Focus score at the test centre, MBA programs won’t see it on your official score report. The test gives you the option to preview your unofficial score before choosing whether to send or cancel it—if you cancel it right there, it’s like it never existed in your official record.
Schools only see the scores you choose to report. Nothing shows up as “cancelled” or “attempted” in the version they receive. Just make sure you cancel it before leaving the test centre or within the allowed online window. If you accept it and then cancel it later, it might still be visible in your GMAC profile, but not to schools.

A lot of people stress about cancelled GMAT Focus scores showing up, but schools can’t see them if you cancel right away. If you cancel your score at the test center before it's sent, it won’t appear on your score reports at all. There’s no record of cancellation visible to MBA programs—only you can see that in your GMAT account.
Just be careful not to accept the score first and then cancel later. While that still hides it from schools, the cancellation stays visible in your personal test history. If you're retaking the test, it doesn’t count toward the five scores you can send unless you accept it. So cancelling early keeps things clean for future apps.
