Hey, YES! If you want to continue your education after achieving your bachelor’s degree, you can study for a master’s in landscape architecture. These are available as an MLArch (Master of Landscape Architecture), or an MA, and require one or two years of study. Although rare, it’s also possible to achieve a Ph.D. in landscape architecture, which will involve three to six years of independent research.
Landscape architecture can be a practical and hands-on program, and your learning will take place in design studies and on field trips, as well as in lectures and seminars. The content and modules you’ll study will be unique to the university you choose, but some of the core subjects most will cover include:
Sustainable technology
Historic and contemporary landscapes
Landscape design
Cultural contexts of landscape architecture
Ecology
Surveying
BEST UNIVERSITIES FOR THE COURSE -
ARIZONA UNIVERSITY
UNIVERSITY OF GREENWICH
MERRITT COLLEGE
LOUSIANA UNIVERSITY
UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY
