For electrical streams, I appreciate your choice of the USA. It's a discipline of engineering and no wonder, the USA has the best engineering colleges overall. You didn’t mention any specific things that you want from your masters so I'm suggesting the overall best options-

  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
  • Stanford University
  • University of California, Berkeley (UCB)
  • Harvard University
  • California Institute of Technology (Caltech)

MIT will be my first recommendation. I don’t think I even need to explain this. Because MIT is the biggest engineering school. Especially with the fields that are more technology-oriented like electrical, it has the best courses plus the top-notch postgrad records. If you have some preference for other universities, go for it. But in case you are utterly confused, don’t second guess MIT for a Masters in Electrical stream. The only reason not to consider MIT it is if you have less qualifications.

Stanford and Harvard are basically your options for renowned universities. They have good programs in all areas and their degrees are highly recognized. And yes, when it comes to research, these are the ones that take the prize home. But you will need near-perfect GPA scores to get into any one of them.

UCB and Caltech are quite popular for their academics. You will be seeing more focus on the course curriculum there. Most of the students target these kinds of universities. Because they are more accessible and probably the best for the course, study-wise. Tell me what are the things you are looking for, like course wise, job options, further studies etc.

Getting an opinion of your interests and profile can decide the university. So I would suggest you take the FREE school explore quiz which will evaluate your profile and generate a list of school options based on your profile and preferences. I am sure it would make your school selection process a lot easier. Let me know if this helps and if you want any other information from my end.
