First of all, congrats on receiving your admit from one of your choice university. It feels really satisfying when you receive an admission letter from the university one chooses. Anyway, your profile with GPA 3.0 and IELTS 6.5 looks more than enough to me. I don’t think you will have any major issue applying for a scholarship program.
The USA is filled with many universities that have many programs. It makes the government more eager to offer scholarships as there are more options available. Plus there are university-funded scholarships. The more the better. If you know of a scholarship offered by any university, just mention the name. Meanwhile, take a look at these scholarship programs. Basically there are the best ones one can get to study in USA -
Â
- AAUW International Fellowship Program
- ACI foundation Scholarship
- Fulbright Scholarships USA
- Onsi Sawiris  Scholarship
- Rotary Peace Fellowships
Some of the mentioned scholarships here cover a big portion of your tuition (almost the entirety of it). Â Therefore when you apply, don't make any mistakes. Your GPA 3.0 is nice enough paired with IELTS 6.5. But to get the best scholarship, you have to be the best. If not grades and scores, use your curriculars, non-academics and community involvement to make a strong profile. It would help you get a nice GRE score.
Does this help in any way? There are a lot of other scholarships but mentioning all of them is not possible. If you have  any particular question just let me know.
