Hi Siddharth. Hope you’re doing good!

It’s interesting that you wish to become a CA despite knowing how much of a continuous hard-working field that is. I have seen people contemplate their decision about being a CA and changing the course of their career in a different direction. But I’m sure you have thought this through and I would really like to wish you all the very best for it.

Now, I didn’t have much knowledge about the process of becoming a CA so I did some research for you. Based on what I found, you need to have a university degree and must have completed a professional training program that is approved by a provincial institute of CAs. After this, you need to do two years or 30 months of on-the-job training and be a member of the provincial institute of chartered accountants. Once you have completed this, you can serve as a CA as per my knowledge. I would suggest you also go and check out the institute of CA website for more detailed information.

Was this helpful? Or do you want me to dig up some more? Shoot in if you have more questions and I’ll try to find that information for you.
