The Master of Sports Medicine is a course designed for qualified practitioners with a passion for excellence in sports and exercise medicine working with athletes of all ages and abilities.

Linking theory and practice, this course explores sport and exercise medicine in diverse contexts including:

Athlete physiology, biomechanics & performance
Sports injury prevention, diagnosis & management
Athlete case management.
This course is designed to produce leaders in best-practice sports medicine. Here I have created a list of the best universities that you can target for masters in sports medicine:

University of Portsmouth
University of Glasgow
Arizona State University
Deakin University
University of Birmingham
By being a part of these top universities you will design, evaluate, implement, analyse and theorise about developments that contribute to advancement of practice in diverse sports, health and exercise contexts You’ll further develop your practice in injury management, rehabilitation and training interventions for athletes of all ages and abilities. You’ll also get to learn about athlete management aiming to optimise function, enhance sports performance and encourage safe physical activity and exercise participation in different sporting and population contexts.

You should also keep in mind that all universities have a certain set of profile requirements, and you need to apply to universities that align with your profile for the same. It’s not necessary that you will be able to apply to all of these mentioned universities because of your profile. Still, there is also a possibility that you can get into some more exceptional universities.

I know it can be a bit difficult to find out which universities match your profile, and then there is also a high chance of miscommunication because of a plethora of data over the internet.

I suggest you check out the FREE School Explore Tool here. It will generate a personalised list of schools that match your profile and preferences. This will make it easier for you to narrow down your best choices then.

Once you have your school list, I’m sure you would also have questions like how to apply, what are the documents required etc. Let me know, and I will help you with relevant information.
