I want to do Masters in fields like Power electronics, Energy systems or Renewable energy systems. Which universities in the USA are preferred for higher job proximities?

Master in all these three domains has a broad scope. No university ensures a high salary prospect. YOu could get less salary even after pursuing a degree from a top-notch college or even a high compensation from a mediocre college. It all depends upon your skills and the knowledge you're applying. Â
Quality Power Electronics research groups are less numerous than those in the generic EE domains, such as VLSI, Embedded Systems, Signal Processing, and Robotics. But the good ones are the cream of the crop. Therefore, the list that follows is not in any particular sequence.
So let's begin:
- Denmark's Aalborg University
- The United States North Carolina State University
- Germany's TU Munich
- The Netherlands' TU Delft.
- Madison, Wisconsin, USA's University.
- American University of Minnesota
- Boulder, Colorado's University.
- American Ohio State University
Some of these colleges offer MS Professional programs that are coursework-focused (Non Thesis), which are easier to get into than Thesis- based Traditional MS programs. If finding employment following your MS is your first objective, I'd advise applying for Non-Thesis or MS Professional (there is an option while using). When you apply for an MS thesis, you join a highly competitive group of candidates who have done extensive research and are determined to pursue a PhD following their MS. Apply for a Thesis if you are confident that you want to pursue a PhD after earning your MS.
A specialised program called Masters in Energy Systems USA focuses on various forms of energy like wind and solar. Students are even taught how to lessen the adverse effects of the environment on traditional power sources and how to employ sustainable energy sources in the curriculum.
Universities in the US that offer degrees in energy systems include:
- Stanford University  Â
- Dartmouth College  Â
- Cornell University  Â
- University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
- New York University  Â
- University of California, Irvine  Â
- University of California, Davis  Â
- Northeastern University, Boston  Â
- The University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign  Â
- Penn State University
There is a rising need for skilled personnel in the sector as the need for clean, renewable energy sources rises. People who want to begin a career in renewable energy or branch out into sustainable energy have a lot of alternatives. Whatever your point of view, there is a postgraduate program for researching renewable energy that will suit your educational requirements and professional objectives.
Universities in the US that offer degrees in Renewable energy systems include:
- Oregon Institute of Technology
- University of California Berkeley
- The University of Texas at Austin
- University of Michigan
- Stanford University
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- North Carolina State University
