I need an APS certificate. I'm in my 8th BTech semester. I have 7th semester results but no physical marksheet yet, only up to the 6th semester. How can I apply for APS?

along with that i would like to mention that i am from IPU university , so i don't have a portal which show results dedicated to only one student , a big pdf of results in uploaded where the marks are covered within a line or two, so like what should i do to apply for aps certificate , and do german universities accept the pursuing degree student , if they do what are the criteria that is needed to be fulfilled .

Hi Dhawal,

To apply for an APS (Akademische Prüfstelle) Certificate while pursuing your 8th semester of B.Tech from IPU (GGSIPU) and having only up to the 6th-semester physical marksheets, here’s what you need to do:

→ Provisional / Online Marksheet of the 7th semester (even if it's in a PDF format with all students' results).
→ Bonafide Certificate from your college/university stating that you are currently enrolled in the 8th semester
→ You must have 6th-semester marksheets & transcripts (attested copies)
→ You must have 12th & 10th Marksheets & Certificates (attested copies)
→ You must have a copy of your Passport & Aadhar Card copy
→ You must have the APS Application Form (filled & signed)

For the 7th-semester marks (since it's in a PDF with all students):

→ Get a stamped & signed copy of the result PDF from your college/university (registrar/examination cell)
→ Ensure that you have highlighted your name & marks in the PDF and get it attested
→ Alternatively, ask your college to issue an individual mark sheet/provisional certificate for the 7th semester.

Several German universities accept applications from students in their final year under the condition that you submit your final degree certificate before enrollment. However, if you are applying before degree completion, check if the university allows provisional admission. Apply for APS as soon as possible, as the processing takes time.

If you need expert guidance on APS, university applications, or German student visas, taking guidance from a study abroad expert will result in a hassle-free admission process.
