For a master in management (MIM) degree, you need specific interests but it's not exclusive. For example, if you want to work in a managerial role, a MIM is obvious. However it does not limit to which sector you want to work in. Having a MIM degree by your side can grant you access to several industries. You can work in multiple areas and switch your career easily.

Because managers are required in every industry including marketing, having graduated from a MIM is very beneficial. And since managerial skills are transferable, more career prospects. Though the field does ask for general skill-sets like leadership, decision-making and initiating traits. These abilities can not be mentioned overnight.

For a master in marketing, you need niche interests in the field. Unlike management, here you will be working strategically with marketing principles and having your ways with it. For the aspirants that are looking to work in global  market building brand, reputation, and advertisement, a master in marketing is the perfect fit. It doesn't give you broad areas as a MIM but it does give you specialized knowledge.

So to understand it more simple, a master in marketing is a branch that is good for hardcore marketing aspirants. But if you are more leaned toward business and management and want to develop your career as a manager, MIM is better. Both options depend on the career options you desire. Not to mention, that your profile is very important here to notice. If your qualifications and records don't fit, it would be a waste.

This is why I recommend you to get help with our experts here. So do not worry, the counseling is free of cost and you can ask as many questions as possible. By getting in touch with them you can see which aspects of your profile need work. If you want some more information, you can ask in the comments. Thanks.
