Hi Arti, hope all's well with you!

With already a graduation in fashion design, it would be best to seek out a post graduation course or a diploma to add on. Further education in fashion design is considered most essential to unlock new areas in career path, literally and figuratively. For instance, a pg program from a reputed European country can grant a bigger market to work in. Along with it, you will be able to build transferable skills to move back and forth in the fashion design industry.

Many universities around the world are known for their fashion design programs. Generally, European institutes prove to offer much wider scope. It also depends upon your program selection. For instance, after graduation it will be more productive to aim for international fashion programs like; international fashion business, luxury management, fashion management or even an MSc. in Fashion.

Or in case you are looking to solidify your current career with a particular area of study you can opt courses like lifestyle promotion, menswear, performance wear, design development etc. Here Are few excellent options to pursue further education abroad in fashion design:

  1. University of Arts (London, United Kingdom)
  2. Kingston University London (Guildford, United Kingdom)
  3. Northumbria University (Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom)
  4. TU Dublin (Dublin, Ireland)
  5. RMIT University (Ballarat, Australia)
  6. New York University (New York, United States)
  7. Raffles Design Institute (Singapore, Singapore)
  8. ArtEZ Institute of The Arts (Zwolle, Netherlands)

You should also check your eligibility before applying to any of these universities.

Why don't you tell me a bit more about your profile? Maybe then I would be able to check if you're eligible for these universities.

Selecting a university for further studies in fashion design requires careful consideration of several factors including the curriculum, faculty, industry connections, and location. Central Saint Martins in the UK and Parsons School of Design in the US are renowned for their innovative approaches and strong ties to the fashion industry, making them top choices for many aspiring designers.

Other notable institutions include the Istituto Marangoni in Milan and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, each known for their specialized programs and access to fashion hubs. To make an informed decision, assess each university's course offerings, faculty expertise, alumni success, and the overall cultural environment. It’s also beneficial to connect with current students or alumni and visit campuses if possible. Your choice should not only reflect your academic interests but also your professional aspirations and the kind of fashion community you want to be a part of.
