Hey Kriti, how are you doing?
Yes of course you can. It is actually quite normal to pursue a master in biomedical engineering like an M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering with your bachelor degree. The catch is extra subjects. The institute you apply to may require you to take some extra subjects to meet the requirements. This leads to a longer completion time in the program. However, if you have planned it, it should be a much of a task to complete. While on the subject, you will not only be changing your concentrations but subjects as well. There is a significant difference between electronic engineering and biomedical engineering. I suggest you go through the electives in the program before applying. It will make the course much more reliable.
About the best colleges, it will be far more efficient to choose an institute that is best for engineering and technology rather than a course-focused one. It will prove more beneficial over time. Here are some top-ranked picks for you:
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA
- Stanford University, USA
- ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Switzerland
- University of Cambridge, UK
- University of California, Berkeley (UCB), USA
- Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore
- University of Oxford, UK
- Imperial College London, UK
- National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore
- Tsinghua University, China (Mainland)
Lastly, to check if you are eligible or not, you need to first evaluate your complete profile and then see if you fulfil the eligibility requirements of these top universities. If you need any help with this, you can get your profile evaluated for free at https://bit.ly/3JLXrwBÂ
