Before anything, congrats on your selection for the course MA Innovation Management at UAL, London. Now that you have received your offer letter, I don’t want you to waste your time searching here and three. The two kinds of scholarships that you can consider are -Â
#1. Masters in UK scholarships
Instead of mentioning 5-6 scholarships, I have two names. Chevening & Commonwealth Scholarships. Both of these are available for Indian students. Chevening Scholarships are funded by the UK government to attract international students. It covers tuition fees, and a living allowance at a set rate (with some small additional costs like maintenance, airfare etc.)
Commonwealth Scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID). These ones cover things like tuition, personal maintenance, thesis grant (if applicable) flight tickets.
#2. University of the Arts London (UAL) Scholarships
There are many scholarships that University of the Arts London offers to its students. Some are for home students while some are for international students. One single course there has like 5-6 different scholarships. For your MA in Innovation Management I recommend focusing on these three -
- Cordwainers Award
- Techne Studentship
- UAL Travel Bursary
Cordwainers Award is for those students that are nominated by tutors for excellence in their chosen field. I suggest focusing on your studies to avail this. Techne Studentship is funded by Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). This one can vary from small aid to full fee waiver. Lastly, the UAL Travel Bursary is for travel purposes. It costs mainline train and/or airline travel within the UK.

Exploring scholarship opportunities is a wise step in planning your studies at UAL, London. As an MA Innovation Management student, you have various options to offset your educational expenses. Firstly, UAL itself provides several scholarships for international students, such as the UAL International Postgraduate Scholarships which offer a significant deduction on tuition fees. Each scholarship has different criteria, so review these carefully to match your profile.Â
Additionally, the UK's Chevening Scholarships are prestigious and cover almost all expenses, including a monthly stipend. These are competitive, so applying early and showcasing strong leadership qualities is essential. The Commonwealth Scholarship is another excellent opportunity for students from member states, offering tuition fees, airfare, and living expenses.Â
Outside of these, numerous external bodies—ranging from charitable foundations to industry associations—offer funding based on various eligibility criteria. For instance, the Royal Society Grants support international students in science and technology fields. Keep an eye on the deadlines and required documents, as these can vary widely. Leveraging these scholarships can significantly ease the financial burden of your studies.
