Here are some tips for your test preparation:
Take a lot of practise exams before the final exam. You should be familiar with the format and pattern of the test to prevent any misunderstandings or delays.

Keep an eye on the time restriction for each section. You must effectively manage your time as you tackle each segment to prevent missing any questions.

We might mix up American and British English when we write. Learn to differentiate between the two, and use only one English during the exam. Make sure your spelling and grammar are accurate as well.

While completing the listening and reading sections, watch and listen to some English-language movies and recordings to hone your listening skills. Read the suggested English novels every day to expand your vocabulary.

Reading online articles, books, journals, newspapers, magazines, and other publications will help you become more fluent in English.

It's not uncommon for students to hit a plateau during their IELTS preparation. However, with three months of preparation and still not reaching your desired band of 7, it might be time to adjust your study methods. Firstly, ensure that you are focusing equally on all four components of the test—reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Often, students spend too much time on one area and neglect others. Additionally, consider seeking professional help. A qualified IELTS instructor can provide you with specific guidance and identify areas where you may be losing points. Also, practice tests are crucial; they help you understand the test format and time constraints. Finally, reviewing your incorrect answers will help you avoid repeating the same mistakes. Stay committed to your goal, and you'll likely overcome this hurdle.

Reaching a band score of 7 in IELTS is a common goal for many students, but it requires both strategic preparation and a deep understanding of the test's requirements. If you have been preparing for three months and have not yet achieved your desired score, it’s important to reassess your study methods and possibly seek additional support.

Firstly, analyze your practice test results to determine which sections are the most challenging for you. It is essential to focus your efforts on these weaker areas. For instance, if writing is a challenge, practice by responding to as many different types of prompts as you can and have those responses evaluated by experts or through reputable online platforms.

Moreover, consider joining a preparation course if you haven't already. Professional instructors can provide insights and tips that are not readily available through self-study. They can also help you understand common pitfalls and how to avoid them.

It's also beneficial to surround yourself with English outside of your formal study sessions. Engage regularly in activities that improve your English in a natural setting, such as watching English films, reading books, or speaking with native speakers. This will help you improve your overall fluency and understanding, which is critical for achieving a higher band score in IELTS.

Finally, patience and persistence are key. Improving language skills takes time, and sometimes progress may seem slow. Stay consistent with your study schedule, regularly review and adapt your strategies, and ensure you are balancing rigorous practice with proper rest and mental health care.
