Hello Asish. Hope you’re doing good!

There are various options one can consider after completing their Bachelors in Science even if it's non medical. If we see technically, MSc (Masters in Science) is the superlative degree to B.Sc. If you have studied non-medical, you still have the opportunity to choose medical for your M,Sc. specialisation. You also have the option to choose non-medical again. Another field that you can opt for your M.Sc. is Biotechnology because I believe it refines the knowledge about cell biology, Immunology and being from the non-medical field it will help in increasing your know-how as well.

It entirely depends on your interests and abilities, that which amongst these specialisations would work the best for you.

I would suggest you, as a candidate, to do your research properly by visiting the course curriculum of suitable universities and lay out your interests and try to match it with your goals. While doing that, it would be easier for you to weigh what the specialisations have to offer. Once you have a blueprint, it will help you choose the most suitable program for your Master’s degree.

So tell me is this the info that you were looking for? If I missed any points let me know and I’ll get back to you with some research.

Choosing the right master's program after a B.Sc in non-medical requires careful consideration of both your academic background and career objectives. It's crucial to identify the fields that align with your skills and interests to capitalize on the vast opportunities a master’s degree can offer.

Given your background, fields such as Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, Data Analytics, and Engineering are worth considering. These programs are designed to deepen your scientific knowledge while equipping you with specialized skills that are in high demand in today’s job market.

For instance, if you have a strong foundation in physics and mathematics, a Master’s in Engineering or Data Analytics could be very advantageous. These fields require strong quantitative skills and can lead to careers in various sectors including technology, finance, and industrial operations.

Alternatively, if you have a penchant for environmental issues or material sciences, pursuing further studies in Environmental Science or Material Science can open doors to careers in research, academia, or industry-focused roles that emphasize sustainable practices and innovations.

It’s advisable to consult with academic advisors or career counselors who can offer a more personalized guidance based on your academic performance and professional aspirations. This way, you can make a well-informed decision that aligns with your long-term career goals.
