 It’s okay to have backlogs in your profile but certainly not active ones. Here’s a list of how many backlogs are accepted along with the condition:Â
5 backlogsÂ
It is reasonable to get admission to most institutions across various countries such as Canada, USA, Australia, UK, Ireland, etc.
* 5 - 10 backlogs are also accepted by many universities.
But make sure you have a good GRE/ GMAT score as well as an IELTS score of 6.0 or above.
* 10 - 15 backlogsÂ
In exceptional cases, it is seen in UK universities where students with 15 backlogs are offered admission on the basis of their performance in IELTS/TOEFL.
But you should fulfill this one condition >>>
If you were enrolled in a 4 years degree, then that degree should/must be completed within 4 years only not 5 not 6 and Same case for 3 years degree
There are other factors as well, that you need to consider in your profile. If you manage to highlight other aspects into your profile where you come across as a good candidate, you can definitely have a shot.
If you are wondering, the other factors that you can consider are:
1. GRE/GMAT Score
2. Language Test Score (IELTS,TOEFL,PTE etc.)
2. Work Experience
3. Extracurricullars
If you still feel confused, I suggest you directly get in touch with Study Abroad Experts here. They will analyse your profile and will suggest you the best aspects of your profile that you should highlight. They can also help you in shortlisting the best universities based on your profile.
Hope this helps!
