It is such an interesting question, to be honest. Civil Engineering grad interested in Computer Science. This is something interesting. Converting your field from civil engineering to computer science will be a little difficult, but the journey will be worth it. I hope you all the very best for all future endeavors.

These are the top computer science schools. Each school's score reflects its average rating on a scale from 1 (marginal) to 5 (outstanding), based on a survey of academics at peer institutions:

  • The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, United States, ranked #1
  • Stanford University, United States, stands at #2
  • The Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh, United States, results at #3
  • The University of Texas, Dallas lies at #4
  • Arizona State University standing at #5
  • The Northeastern University, the USA, lies at #6
  • Harvard University, the US at # 7
  • University of Cambridge, UK stands at #8
  • ETH Zurich, Switzerland positioning at #9
  • EPFL, Switzerland lies at #10

You are competing against other prospective students that have equal coding skills. It would be best if you distinguish yourself in some other way. Work up on yourself and become a better version of yourself. Keep rooting for yourself, and check for other colleges' requirements.
