The question is usually about your professional purpose—which means what you truly want to achieve in your career and why it matters to you. This is not just about what job title you want. It's about what drives you, what kind of problems you care about, and how you want to make a difference through your work.

When writing the essay, be honest and clear. Talk about your background, what you’ve learned so far, and how those experiences have shaped your goals. Then explain how the Oxford MBA will help you reach those goals. Show that you’ve done your research and that Oxford is the right place for your growth.

Keep your language simple and direct. You don’t need big words to impress the reader—what matters most is that your story feels real and that it clearly shows who you are and where you’re going.
