How many mock tests should I take per week from July to boost my CAT score?

Taking 2 to 3 CAT mocks per week from July is ideal if the goal is to seriously push percentile up. But the number alone doesn&rsquo;t matter unless each mock is followed by proper review.
Start with 1 or 2 full-length mocks per week in July. More than that early on can be too much if your basics are still weak. It&rsquo;s better to build up slowly while working on accuracy. Use the rest of the week to work on weak areas from that mock,  especially DILR set types and RC accuracy.
By mid-August or early September, increase it to 2&ndash;3 mocks per week. One on the weekend, another mid-week, and maybe a third lighter one under test-like conditions.
Also, don&rsquo;t ignore sectionals. Give 3&ndash;4 sectional tests each week in addition to mocks, especially if one section (like Quant or VARC) is lagging. Consistency matters more than volume, and mock analysis is where the actual learning happens.

Mock fatigue is real , taking too many too early can backfire. It&rsquo;s not about hitting a number, it&rsquo;s about using each one to improve something specific.
&bull; Started with one mock every Sunday in July. That left Monday and Tuesday for deep analysis and follow-up practice. &bull; Added a second mock midweek (usually Wednesday or Thursday) by mid-August,  used that one just to test pacing and set selection, not score chasing. &bull; From September to November, stuck to 2 full mocks per week and 2 sectional tests per section. This mix gave better results than blindly doing 4 full mocks a week. &bull; On mock days, gave the mock in the morning, reviewed it in the afternoon, and solved 15&ndash;20 QA or DILR questions in the evening. Following the full exam-day routine helped improve focus and stamina. &bull; Never gave mocks back-to-back. Always kept at least a day between full tests to avoid burning out and to actually apply what was learned.
Mock count matters, but mock recovery is what boosts the score.
