The Kira interviews are usually  15 to 30 minutes long ,  depending on the school and the number of questions they ask. Most programs give 3 to 6 video questions, and for each one, you typically get 30&ndash;60 seconds to prepare and then 1&ndash;2 minutes to answer.
What many people don&rsquo;t realize is that you go through the questions one after the other&mdash;you can&rsquo;t pause the full session or come back later. Most Kira video interviews are around  20 minutes long, but it depends on the school. Typically, you&rsquo;ll face 4&ndash;5 recorded questions, each with prep and response time. But if your school includes a written question, that adds another 5&ndash;10 minutes on top.
For example, schools like INSEAD or Rotman may include 1&ndash;2 short written tasks where you get a question and a few minutes to type your answer. So if you&rsquo;re doing both video and written parts, expect the whole thing to last closer to 30 minutes total.
