The Sungkyunkwan University MBA program is an 18-month full-time program. It starts in August every

year. The fall semester consists of core courses and has 13.5 credits. The core courses include subjects


like Managerial Economics, Global Business Environment, etc. The spring and summer semesters have

elective courses too along with core courses. 

Following are the requirements for admission into the SungkyunkwanUniversity MBA program –

1) Certificate of graduation and academic transcripts

2) Test score of either one of these English exams – TOEFL, TOEIC, TOEIC Speaking, OPIc, TEPS and

IELTS

TOEFL internet based score should be greater than 95. Overall IELTS score should be greater than 7.

3) Current Resume

4) One optional requirement is of Future Leader Scholarship Application

5) 2 recommendation letters

Some documents are required to be submitted on the day of the interview. These are –

1) Original certificate of graduation for –

a) Korean universities – Certificate in Korean

b) Overseas universities – Certificate in English

c) Chinese universities – Certificate in English and one of the a and b documents.

2) Transcripts

The tuition of the first and third semesters for the Sungkyunkwan University MBA program is KRW

14,800,000 each. For the second semester, it is KRW 20,400,000. This makes a total tuition fee of KRW

50,000,000. Besides this, there is an entrance fee of KRW 1,300,000.  The average cost of living in Seoul

is 1,260,000₩ ($1075) per month. Rent is normally counted as a separate cost in South Korea.
