Comparing an MBA here with one abroad really depends on what you want out of it. If you&rsquo;re planning to work in India, staying here for your MBA makes a lot of sense. Schools like IIMs, ISB, and a few others are highly respected, and you&rsquo;ll be building a network that&rsquo;s tailored to the Indian market&hellip; which, trust me, is incredibly valuable when it comes to getting top job offers here. Starting salaries range from 15-25 lakhs, but it could go up with the right experience.
Studying abroad will give you a more global perspective and depending on where you go, your potential for earning might differ significantly. MBA's from the US, UK or European schools lead students to jobs starting in the range of 80-120k USSD, But the costs are significantly higher, often upto than 50-60 lakhs for tuition alone.
If you wish to work abroad or in multinational companies, going overseas will definitely be worth it. If you see yourself growing a career in India however, an MBA here could be the better option, since it's affordable and you'll be closer to home.

Both the options have its own advantage in today's market, but it depends what you are targeting from the experience; an MBA from India, particularly from the top schools, gives a lot of foundation to work in the Indian market. The networking is unmatched&hellip; many of my batchmates found excellent positions due to these alumni connections. And lastly, let's not forget the job prospects&mdash; they are solid, with average starting salaries around 20 lakhs.
An international MBA can widen your career opportunities if you want to work globally. The thing is, you get exposure to so many different business cultures, and employers are often looking for that. The financial commitment though is pretty demanding, and needs to be considered. Fees abroad are much higher and living expenses add to it, but if you break into global markets, the pay off could be higher.
Of course, both careers can lead to great careers-it is just a matter of where one's career ambitions take them.
