When comparing Indian business schools to those in the US or Europe, it comes down to what you&rsquo;re looking for. Indian schools, especially top-tier ones like the IIMs or ISB, are highly competitive and offer great value for money. But globally, they don&rsquo;t always rank as high as the more established schools in the US or Europe&hellip; Institutions like Harvard, Stanford, or INSEAD tend to dominate the global rankings because of their extensive alumni networks, research output, and strong connections with multinational companies.
That said, Indian business schools are gaining ground, especially in terms of providing quality education tailored to the Indian and Asian markets. The ROI is often better too, as the tuition fees are significantly lower&mdash;usually between 20-40 lakhs compared to international schools where the cost can go well above 50-60 lakhs. And while they may not always top global rankings, they offer excellent career opportunities in India and sometimes beyond.
If you&rsquo;re planning to work in India or want a more affordable education with a solid reputation, Indian business schools are a fantastic option. But if you&rsquo;re after a global brand and are willing to make a bigger financial investment, schools in the US or Europe could offer broader international exposure.

Business schools in India are great, even though the global rankings would tell you otherwise. I've been to one of the better ones here. They pack a strong curriculum and a fantastic deal of job placements, mainly in the Indian market&hellip; But yeah, they don't always stack up against the likes of Harvard or INSEAD when it comes to ranking globally.
The main difference, typically, lies in the resources and global networks that an international school can offer. Here, US and European schools are miles ahead of others, having a long history of rapport with top global firms and research-oriented approaches. Still, Indian schools provide a great return on investment.
So, while Indian business schools may not top the global charts, they are excellent if you&rsquo;re looking to work in India or other parts of Asia.
