Applying for scholarships at IIM A, B, or C for Executive MBA programs isn’t part of the main application. Scholarships are only considered after you’ve received an admission offer.

  • IIM Ahmedabad (PGPX): Offers a post-admission need-based scholarship. You'll fill out a separate form with income, liabilities, and dependent details. Required documents include IT returns, salary slips, and bank statements.
  • IIM Bangalore (EPGP): Provides merit-based Admission Scholarships. No separate application is needed—awards are automatically considered based on GMAT (usually 700+), work experience, and interview score.
  • IIM Calcutta (MBAEx): Scholarships are limited and offered after joining. Selection is based on academic performance, career achievements, and profile diversity.

There are no full-tuition waivers, and all scholarships are partial.  Prepare financial documents early, as aid decisions are usually communicated just before the program starts. Getting the admission offer is the first step—scholarship evaluation happens only afterward.

Applying for scholarships for Executive MBA programs at IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, or Calcutta is a separate process that happens after admission, not during the initial application.

At IIM Ahmedabad (PGPX), candidates can apply for the Need-Based Scholarship once they’ve secured admission. The form requires income details, existing loans, dependents, and financial obligations. Supporting documents like salary slips, IT returns, and loan statements are mandatory. Shortlisted candidates may be asked for further clarification or interviews before aid is finalized.

IIM Bangalore (EPGP) offers merit-based scholarships like the Admission Scholarship and other sponsored awards. These don’t require a separate application before admission, top-ranked applicants are automatically considered based on GMAT (typically 700+), academics, and professional experience.

IIM Calcutta (MBAEx) has limited internal awards, and candidates are usually notified post-admission if they’re eligible. In all cases, plan financially in advance, as results for aid are usually confirmed only after enrolment.
