Hi. If you want to study B.Tech abroad, I would suggest starting now. Though you may not need special requirements like GRE or Essays, even an undergraduate degree needs some specific things. And it is smart too because a bachelor degree abroad doesn't cost a big amount.

So by default you have to be a 12th pass out or have a diploma of the same level. After that the first thing you need to think about is SAT or ACT. Yes, you will need these test scores for an undergraduate degree in abroad countries. But I guess you can slack in it a little bit. Because 2/3 of more than 2,300 universities in the USA alone are willing to ignore SAT scores. So there is some flexibility in that. Even so I would recommend attempting it.

Now you will not need GRE or GMAT but common things for studying abroad like LOR and SOP are still needed. So take these into your consideration. And with no need to mention, you will need a language test score. Mainly an English test because most of the international programs are taught in English. I hope you have some of these requirements done already. And start on the rest one early.

I didn’t include this early because you need extra focus on this one. The university abroad will ask you for relevant subjects if you apply for an academic program. Like the B.Tech you will need STEM subjects in your 12th report. You can’t get past this hurdle.

I wish you good luck on your B.Tech search abroad. However, in case you need any kind of help, feel free to ask.
