Yes, you can pursue an MS in the United States after completing your B.Com in India. If you want to attend Top Ranking Universities in the United States, you must have a good GRE score. Most universities require a four-year undergraduate degree. However, you do have some options. Yes, some universities accept three years of undergraduate education. Because most US universities do not recognise three-year diploma programmes from Indian universities. They need 10+2+4 years of education. To be eligible, you must first complete an MCom (at least the first year). I believe you can pursue a master's degree in accounting or finance. However, I would recommend pursuing an MBA. It would be more profitable. If you have any further questions just ask me or book a free call with our study abroad expert to know more.

Hello! Your academic pathway is quite distinctive, having transitioned from a diploma in ECE to a B.Com in Computers. When it comes to pursuing a Master’s degree, the validity of your undergraduate degree depends on several factors. First, the accreditation of the institution from which you obtained your B.Com degree is crucial. Universities abroad typically require that your undergraduate education be recognized by a competent authority. Secondly, the relevance of your B.Com degree to the Master’s program you wish to enroll in will also be a factor. Programs in fields related to business or IT may see your degree as more relevant compared to more technical or engineering-focused programs.

To ensure the best approach, I recommend checking the specific eligibility criteria for the programs you are interested in. This might include reaching out to university admissions offices for detailed information. Additionally, preparing for and excelling in standardized tests like the GRE can strengthen your application, especially if your undergraduate degree’s field differs from your intended Master’s program. Careful planning and preparation are key to presenting a strong application.
