Well, your score in class 12th is not very good though your IELTS score is at par. IELTS is one of the most popular English proficiency tests for higher education in the world, having been taken 3 million times in the last year. In general, to study in Australia, you must have an IELTS score of at least 6.5 overall, with no band lower than 6.0 for postgraduate options. When applying for undergraduate programmes, you must have an IELTS score of at least 6.0 overall. The majority of top universities in the United States require an IELTS score of 7 or higher.
