Spanning over 1-2 years, MS in Mechanical Science is widely pursued after bachelor’s degree owing to its exhaustive study curriculum and higher demand in the job market.
The eligibility criteria vary for different universities which is why it is advisable to go through the official website of a university before proceeding with the application process. Though the basic eligibility criteria can differ, it is mandatory to have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering to get admission in MS in Mechanical Engineering. Most of the colleges abroad ask you to have a valid GRE score and take English language proficiency exam which includes IELTS, TOEFL or PTE.

Here are some of the top universities known for offering MS in Mechanical Engineering:
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Stanford University
Imperial College London
University of Cambridge
University of Oxford
Harvard University
The University of Tokyo
University of Michigan
University of California, Berkeley
California Institute of Technology
