Schools sponsor and support startups in diverse ways. At my school, there was a solid ecosystem for budding entrepreneurs. They provided incubators, opportunities for networking, and access to early-stage funding. It is quite good as a way to get your foot in the door especially if targeting a local market. The affordability around 20-25 lakhs makes it easier to focus on my venture without bothering too much about debt.
On the other hand, when I interacted with peers from other international programs, I discovered that their schools are much more exposed. They received access to global investors, research labs, and mostly more advanced tech support. It came with a high price, though sometimes in the range of 50-80 lakhs or more. But if you aim to scale internationally, the global connections from those schools give you an edge.
