For those who got into XLRI GMP, what GMAT resources did you use and did you take any coaching?

I got into XLRI GMP with a 660 GMAT, and yes, I took coaching. I started with GMAT Official Guide and GMAT Club for practice, but MentR-Me&rsquo;s free mock test helped me identify Verbal as my weak area early on.
I joined a weekend coaching class for structure, but my real progress came from focusing on my weak spots&mdash;like Sentence Correction. I practiced 15 timed questions daily using GMAT Club&rsquo;s grammar filters. For Data Insights, I used the GMAT Focus Official mocks and practiced graphs twice a week.
One thing that worked is instead of going over wrong answers randomly, I grouped them by mistake type (e.g., careless errors, timing issues) to improve faster. I took a mock test every two weeks and reviewed it thoroughly.
In the final month, I started taking full-length mocks under real test conditions. Don&rsquo;t let a few low scores discourage you, focus on progress, not perfection. You got this!

A candidate who scored 700 and got into XLRI GMP prepared mostly through self-study, using a few targeted resources. His go-to materials were the GMAT Official Guide, TTP Quant modules, and Veritas Verbal question bank.
He didn&rsquo;t take full coaching but enrolled in a short Verbal-focused course to improve RC and CR. For Reading Comprehension, he used Aristotle RC99 and did 2 sets daily under timed conditions. He also took MentR-Me&rsquo;s free mock test  midway through prep to review weak areas.
He studied around 8&ndash;10 hours a week for nearly 3.5 months and took six full-length mocks, mostly from the GMAT Official platform.
