EDHEC vs ESCP MiM, which is better if I want to work in Europe after graduation?

I’m currently in my final year of BCom and planning to apply for MiM programs in France. Right now I’m stuck between EDHEC and ESCP. I’m mainly interested in finance roles, maybe something like asset management or corporate finance, and I’d prefer to work somewhere in Europe after graduating — doesn’t have to be just France.
 I know ESCP has the multi-campus format and slightly better rankings, but EDHEC is known for finance and the cost is also lower. I don’t speak French yet, so that’s also something I’m worried about.
 Does anyone here know how both schools compare in terms of actual placements for international students? Especially if you're coming from a non-target undergrad and don’t have any global work ex.

Between EDHEC and ESCP, the decision isn&rsquo;t as obvious as rankings might suggest &mdash; it depends on how you plan to use each school&rsquo;s strengths.

ESCP&rsquo;s London campus gives direct access to UK-based finance firms, but actual IB or AM roles still need prior experience or strong networking.
EDHEC, while single-campus, has deeper recruiter ties specifically in finance &mdash; especially for asset management and risk roles in Paris, Luxembourg, and even Geneva.
ESCP can help build a European profile fast if you use the Berlin or Madrid semesters well, but cost of living and travel adds up across cities.
EDHEC has better support for finance-focused internationals, and its grads do land roles in Europe even from non-target undergrads &mdash; especially with a good internship during the gap.
Lack of French limits Paris-based roles for both, but London and Luxembourg hires do happen if the profile is sharp.

If finance is the goal, and budget plus brand in finance matters more than multi-campus travel, EDHEC might actually be the more strategic bet.

For finance roles in Europe after MiM, EDHEC is often considered stronger than ESCP ,  especially if you're focused on asset management or corporate finance.
EDHEC has a top-ranked MSc in Finance and the MiM program shares several finance electives, so recruiters like Amundi, BlackRock, Rothschild, and BNP Paribas are common on campus. Their alumni network in London and Luxembourg is well-established, especially for finance roles.
ESCP's multi-campus model is great for exposure, but unless you make full use of the rotations, it doesn&rsquo;t always translate into better placements. The cost difference is real ,  EDHEC is more affordable by several lakhs, which adds up if you&rsquo;re funding this without a scholarship.
For someone coming from a BCom background without global work ex, EDHEC may feel more accessible. Their finance career track and CFA affiliation help level the field even without French fluency.
