No, not submitting GRE scores does not affect visa approvals.

You need to understand that visa decisions are based on various factors, and GRE scores are not among them.

The visa process mainly focuses on your financial stability, the intention to study in the country, and the documentation from the university, like your admission letter.

Here’s what matters for visa approval:

1. University Admission:

  • The most important part of your visa application is having an admission offer from a recognized university.
  • As long as the university doesn't require GRE scores for admission, it won’t matter for your visa.
  • The embassy looks at your admission letter to confirm that you have a genuine reason to study abroad.

2. Proof of Finances:

  • You must show that you have enough money to pay for your tuition and living expenses.
  • The visa officers want to know if you can support yourself while studying. This is often more critical than your test scores.

3. Intent to Return:

  • Visa officers may ask about your plans after completing your degree. They want to ensure you are not trying to stay in the country illegally after your studies.
  • So, your study purpose and future plans should be clear.

4. Required Documents:

  • The visa process also requires documents like your passport, proof of finances, admission letter, and sometimes health insurance.

As long as you provide all the required documents, GRE scores are not a concern.
