These questions usually show up when the panel wants to break the script and check how you think beyond academics or your resume.
&bull; Some candidates have been asked about beauty standards, dress codes, or even how social media affects self-image &bull; It often starts with a casual line,  like &ldquo;appearance matters in business&rdquo;, and they follow up by asking how far that should go &bull; Ethics-based questions are common too,  like &ldquo;Is lying ever acceptable in leadership?&rdquo; or &ldquo;Would you take credit if the team isn&rsquo;t around?&rdquo; &bull; You won&rsquo;t be grilled, but they do nudge you to explain your thought process clearly &bull; Avoid giving overly safe or textbook answers,  they catch on fast. Just be honest, structured, and back it with a small example if you can
It&rsquo;s not about what your opinion is,  it&rsquo;s about whether it&rsquo;s well-thought-out and balanced. That&rsquo;s what they remember.
