I know presenting your application in a way that it impresses the admission committee and gets you an admit from your dream school is pretty challenging task. Students spend days preparing the perfect application so you are very much on the right track.Â
Now, coming to your question, having your business is obviously counted as work experience. If you have your own business, start-up or even a small venture, you gain entrepreneurial and management skills at the least. You also get to brush up various other skills like communication, leadership etc. depending on the kind of business that you have.Â
So if you can highlight these skills gained, projects worked upon, impact that your business created (even if it’s a small impact), all of this will reflect in your overall profile.Â
The point being, anything that highlights your profile and increases your chances of getting an admit is very much accepted and counted. So if you have a valid business setup and can highlight these things, then yes, it will be counted as your work experience.
If you are still not sure about what to include in your profile and need any assistance, I suggest you directly get in touch with Study Abroad Experts here. They will analyse your profile and will guide you with all the information. They will also assist you for the complete application process. I am sure it will save you a lot of hassle.
Let me know how this goes and if you want any other information from my end.Â
