Well,  It really depends on what you're planning to study.

If you're looking to get into a business-related program, chances are you might need to take the GMAT. But here's a little insider info – sometimes, GMU might let you skip the GMAT if you've got some awesome grades or if you've been working in a related field for a while.

So, the best advice? Check out the specific requirements for the program you're interested in on GMU's website. They'll have all the info you need. And hey, if you're still confused or have more questions, you can always ask them directly or chat with someone who knows the ropes. Don't worry too much – there are lots of ways to make your application stand out, GMAT or not!

At George Mason University, the requirement for GMAT scores varies depending on the specific graduate program to which you are applying. While the GMAT is commonly required for business-related programs, other departments might accept different standardized tests like the GRE. For definitive requirements, it’s important to consult the specific program’s admission details.

The GMAT helps the admissions committee assess your analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in standard business academic contexts, providing a benchmark against other applicants
