Does BITSoM accept sponsored candidates from companies?

Planning to apply to BITSoM with company sponsorship? It’s fully accepted—but here’s what matters:

  • Sponsored candidates apply through the same process as all other applicants.
  • You need to meet the regular admission criteria—test scores, academics, and interview.
  • BITSoM won’t require anything extra from your company, and there’s no separate route.
  • The sponsorship agreement is between you and your employer, BITSoM doesn’t manage it.

These candidates are considered at par with non-sponsored candidates, and the application process stays the same regardless of sponsorship. Just keep the admissions team informed so things stay smooth during documentation.

Yes, BITSoM accepts company-sponsored candidates for its MBA program. If your employer is sponsoring you, you’ll still go through the same standard application process as everyone else.

There’s no separate form or track for sponsored applicants. You need to meet the same requirements , academic qualifications, CAT/GMAT/GRE scores, and interviews. Any terms of the sponsorship, like whether you return to the company or repay anything, are handled directly between you and your employer. BITSoM doesn’t interfere in that part.

Just make sure to mention the sponsorship during your application so the admissions team is aware and can help with documentation if needed.
