An MBA from France definitely holds a lot of value, especially from top schools like INSEAD, HEC Paris, and ESCP, but whether it holds the same value as an MBA from the US or UK can depend on what you’re aiming for in your career.

In terms of global recognition, US-based MBA programs like Harvard or Wharton tend to be the most well-known worldwide, and they have massive networks in top companies across the globe. An MBA from these schools can open a lot of doors, particularly if you want to work in the US or in global corporations. The UK schools, like London Business School or Oxford, also have a very strong reputation, especially in Europe and the Middle East.

Now, an MBA from France is incredibly valuable if you’re looking to work in Europe or France specifically, as the schools are well-respected, and their alumni networks are strong in industries like consulting, finance, and luxury goods.

Schools like INSEAD are extremely well-regarded globally, and their multi-campus model offers a lot of international exposure. So, it’s more about what fits your career goals.

If you want to work in Europe or want an internationally focused MBA, an MBA from France can be just as strong, if not stronger, than one from the US or UK, depending on your target industry.

But if you're aiming for something like a top-tier consulting or finance job in the US, a US-based MBA might be more directly recognized there. Either way, the value really comes down to how you use the network, the experiences, and the brand of the school you graduate from.

An MBA from France can be valuable, but it depends on where you want to work after graduation. If your goal is to work anywhere in the world, especially in the US or Asia, an MBA from Harvard, Stanford, or LBS will give you a stronger global brand. But if you’re set on Europe, INSEAD or HEC Paris can be just as powerful—especially in finance, consulting, and luxury management.

Salary-wise, US MBAs lead ($140K–$160K), followed by UK MBAs ($100K–$130K). French MBAs ($110K–$130K) are competitive but tend to be more Europe-focused. Visa rules also play a huge role—getting a job in the US post-MBA is tough due to H-1B limits, while the UK and France offer 2-year post-study work visas, making it easier to stay and work in Europe.

A key thing many students don’t consider is employer perception. Big multinationals know and value INSEAD and HEC Paris, but outside Europe, some recruiters still prioritize US and UK MBAs. If you want to maximize opportunities, especially in North America or Asia, a US or UK MBA is the safer bet.
