It&rsquo;s not guaranteed, but if you said something unusual or controversial in GD/WAT,  they will bring it up.

Yes, MDI interviewers sometimes refer to what you said in the GD or wrote in the WAT , especially if your points stood out or contradicted your interview answers.
If you made a bold claim in the GD or took a strong stance in the WAT, be ready to defend or elaborate on it. For example, if you argued against corporate social responsibility in the GD and later say you're passionate about ethical leadership, they might ask for clarification. It&rsquo;s not about catching you,  they just want to check for consistency.
They may also ask why you chose a certain angle in the WAT or how you would improve your performance if given a second chance. So it helps to remember what you said and wrote,  even just the main idea or examples used. Being consistent and self-aware during the interview matters just as much as your performance in GD-WAT.
