Do I need to apply separately for BITSoM MBA scholarships or is it automatic?

Not all BITSoM scholarships need a separate application, only one does. Here’s how it works:

• Merit Scholarship: No extra step. If your scores (like GMAT 700+ or CAT 95+ percentile) and profile are strong, you’ll be automatically considered.
• Women’s Scholarship: Also automatic. All eligible female applicants are reviewed during the admission process.
• Merit-cum-Need: This is the only one that needs a separate step. You must fill out the scholarship section in the form, and your family income must be below ₹18 lakh per year.

So unless you're applying based on financial need, there’s no extra application needed for scholarships.
