Do bschools give the same weightage to GRE and GMAT? Which bschools can I apply to for MIM with a 325 GRE? (2023)?

Hey, While the GMAT is designed specifically for business school applicants, the GRE is a test that can gain students admittance to graduate programs across almost all subjects, including the MBA.

Traditionally, the GMAT has taken precedence over the GRE. However, these days, a great number of international business schools will accept both tests.

GRE - The GRE is accepted at 1200+ Business Schools worldwide. Its Unique Quantitative Question focuses on quantitative comparisons, while the GRE’s Unique Verbal Questions look at Sentence Equivalence & Text Completion. This test is better for creative/flexible thinkers.

GMAT - The GMAT is accepted by all business schools. Its Unique Quantitative Question focuses on Data Sufficiency, while the GMAT’s Unique Verbal Questions look at Sentence Correction & Critical Reasoning. This test is better for number-crunching thinkers.

So it purely depends upon your aptitude and interest whether you want to apply through GMAT or GRE for various MBA courses abroad.

Some universities accepting GRE scores of 320 to 325 are listed below:

Purdue University
University of Pennsylvania
University of Virginia
Rutgers University
University of Chicago
Northwestern University
University of Massachusetts
University of Washington, Seattle
Washington University in St. Louis
University of Arizona

I hope you find this information useful. Do you have any specific country in mind?
