Yes, students can work while studying MiM in Germany. International students are allowed to work part-time for 120 full days or 240 half days per year without requiring a special work permit. This flexibility makes it easier for students to manage their finances and gain valuable work experience during their studies.
Germany has a student-friendly approach, and many MiM programs offer flexible schedules, allowing students to balance their studies with part-time jobs. Common part-time roles include working in cafes, retail, or even internships related to your field of study. Additionally, universities often have on-campus jobs, such as research or teaching assistant roles.
It's important to remember that working hours should not exceed the allowed limit to avoid any issues with your visa. Also, focusing on internships or roles aligned with your career goals can add value to your resume and help build a strong professional network.
So, Basically working part-time during your MiM in Germany is not only possible but also a great way to support yourself financially and gain relevant experience. Always check your visa conditions and stay updated with local labor laws to ensure compliance.
