Can MIM Essay help applicants with a low GMAT/GRE score?

Mimessay can help even if your gmat or gre score is on the lower side, but it depends a lot on the rest of your profile. I've seen applicants in the low 600s still make it to good european mbas because their work ex and side projects were shown properly. They usually push you to highlight impact from your job or college activities so the score doesnt take over the whole application. With a lower score, insead or lbs  might be a long shot but you can still aim for solid schools abroad if your profile is balanced.

i had a 640 gmat focus which i knew was low for the very top mims. i worked with mimessay and they were honest that insead or lbs would be out of reach. instead they helped me target places where my 2 years in consulting could still stand out. we built a mix of schools that included king&rsquo;s college london and whu in germany. the feedback pushed me to highlight client projects and a volunteering role i had left out. in the end i got admits from king&rsquo;s and whu. so yeah even with a low score they can help if you are flexible with your list.

I had a fairly low gmat and was stressing that  i would have no chances at good schools. They did a profile evaluation with me first pointing out strengths i was ignoring like leadership roles client work, and some volunteer stuff. Then in essays they made sure those parts stood out so the score didnt dominate everything. The essays did take time but the final version actually aligned with my goals and felt like it told my story properly.

Even with a low  gmat  they focused on parts of my profile that matched what my target schools look for   work impact, projects, and recommendations. The essays and lors were built around those points to show how i would  add value to the class. It took multiple edits to get there but the final essays actually felt like they showed who i  am.

for low scores the essays and overall narrative matter more. thats usually where consultants add value. they help you highlight the good parts so the score doesnt become the only thing the school sees.
