The GMAT Focus Edition can be taken multiple times without hurting your chances. Most business schools focus on the best overall score you submit. Admissions committees know that many serious applicants take the GMAT more than once to maximize their potential, especially because a small jump from 680 to 710 can make a big difference for scholarships and top school admits.
Technically, you can attempt the GMAT Focus up to five times in a year, but it’s smart to plan no more than two serious attempts. If you take the exam four or five times with very little score improvement, some top schools might see it as a concern. As long as your final score shows clear improvement or crosses key school averages, retaking is seen as a sign of persistence, not a weakness.
